Job Description

Blocktech MEP are in need of a Mechanical Machinist to support our client for a three month contract.

The successful candidate will need to be able to carry out all duties listed below

Main duties and responsibilities;

· Carry out operational activities on CNC machines.

· Asquith Butler experience required with Siemens 840D control experience.

· Experience of 5 axis machining.

· Be able to edit NC programs and have excellent milling machining experience (minimum 5 years).

· Ensure quality of product and operations to meet drawing and customer requirements to standard best practices

· Work as a team with the department, across shifts and support and implement the needs of the business in terms of operational flexibility

· Ensure all machine, shift and weekly targets are achieved in line with cost, quality and EHS requirements

· Support and take part in all EHS, Quality, Continuous Improvement and New Product Introduction initiatives
